In 2000, Parasol gave Anurag Dikshit, a software developer from India, shares in her company\u2019s global media in exchange for Dikshit\u2019s creation of a platform for multiplayer poker games. Dikshit already ran a highly successful enterprise of his own,\ud1a0\ud1a0\uc0ac\uc774\ud2b8<\/a> and he extended an invitation to Parasol to become a business partner in his enterprise as well.<\/p>\n

The two brought on board an additional pair of founders: Parasol\u2019s husband, Russ DeLeon, would take on the role of the chief operating officer, while Vikrant Bhargava would be in charge of marketing. Because of this, the foundation of PartyGaming was established.<\/p>\n

PartyPoker was established in 2001, and since \ud1a0\ud1a0\uc0ac\uc774\ud2b8<\/a>then. The firm has provided other operators with the opportunity to participate in pooled liquidity by purchasing a \u201cskin\u201d for their version of the game that runs on the same network as PartyPoker. This presented an opportunity that was quickly taken advantage of by several large casino sites. And before long, the global media poker network was up and running.<\/p>\n

Company\u2019s growth rate was consistently in the double digits from month to month, and it appeared that the only thing that could stop the company\u2019s success would be a software crash. The development team worked carefully and produced changes allowing for more broad liquidity pools.<\/p>\n

By the time the World Poker Tour was in its second season, it was clear that poker was here to stay. And the people at Party Poker wanted a piece of the action. Online poker made it possible for recreational players to compete in high-stakes live tournaments at a fraction of standard entry fees (something that changed the industry forever in 2003 when Chris Money maker won the WSOP Main Event).<\/p>\n

PartyPoker<\/strong><\/h3>\n

PartyPoker, who was the market leader at the time, decided to form a collaboration with the tour. As part of this partnership, PartyPoker would become the official site for qualifying events to be played on and would have their name prominently shown during the broadcast.<\/p>\n

To take things one step further, the website offered Mike Sexton, who served as the voice of the WPT. A partnership arrangement. Not only was Sexton a professional player, but it was also obvious that he was becoming the main broadcaster for the sport. Therefore, having Sexton serve as PartyPoker\u2019s spokesperson could not have a negative impact in any way.<\/p>\n

Now, PartyPoker has successfully secured sponsorship of one of the most important poker tours and the tour\u2019s flamboyant ambassador. Since they had moved to Gibraltar, the four people who had founded the website found themselves living in very prosperous times.<\/p>\n

PartyPoker achieved the position everyone aspired to achieve in 2004, which was the mountain\u2019s peak. Thanks to its investment in the World Poker Tour (WPT) and the additional revenue generated by its significant licensees, such as Empire Poker.<\/p>\n
